Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at assigned premises. This role involves providing a visible security presence, monitoring activities, and supporting site safety in line with agreed procedures and legal requirements.

Key duties include controlling access to the site, monitoring entry and exit points, and conducting regular patrols to identify potential risks or safety concerns. The Security Officer is expected to respond appropriately to incidents, follow established protocols, and report any issues accurately and promptly.

The role requires clear communication with site management, staff, visitors, and emergency services when necessary. Maintaining detailed records, including incident logs and daily reports, forms an essential part of the position.

Security Officers must act professionally at all times, ensuring that security measures are carried out without disrupting normal operations. Compliance with SIA standards, health and safety policies, and company procedures is mandatory.

This position may involve working days, nights, weekends, or shifts, depending on site requirements. Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.
