Warehouse Operative

Job Description

Pertemps Exeter are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work in a large warehouse which distribute calendars and other stationary goods, throughout the UK with their main warehouse based on Marsh Barton.

Shift Times

Days: Monday to Friday 08am – 16.30

Overtime available evenings and Saturdays at an enhanced rate of £15ph! (After 37.5 hours)

As a Warehouse Operative role, you will be

·         Picking

·         Packing

·         labelling orders

·         reading from picking lists to ensure the correct items are ready for dispatch, also ensuring the right quantities and quality is sent.

·         Due to the nature of the role there may be some heavy lifting.

Orders can range from 1 - 100+ items to be regularly dispatched and this needs to be done within a timely manner. 

Warehouse Operatives may be required to support other departments, ensuring stock levels are correct, quality control, lifting and keeping the warehouse department or your workstation clean and tidy.

Full training will be given, and this exciting role has every opportunity for you to develop and learn new skills.
