Job Description
On behalf of our client, a large supplier of wooden and building materials we are looking for a Tool Hire Driver.
Hours of work: 7:00am-17:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am-12:00pm every other Saturday
A Tool Hire Driver will be in regular contact with our customers and therefore play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will;
- Understand customer needs and provide proactive advice and solutions
- Organise and carry out tool hire delivery and collection keeping customers updated
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders
- Attach trailers and tow equipment to sites (trailer training will be provided)
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
- A keen interest in DIY or working with various tools at home on projects
- Customer service experience
- Experience repairing and maintaining tools in branch
- A full, clean driving license is essential for this role and experience driving a 3.5t van is preferable.
