Regional Maintenance Technician

On behalf of our client, a company in the restaurant business field we are looking for Regional Maintenance Technician.

Responsible for the resolution of assigned maintenance tasks and projects.
Decorating and general maintenance.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Planning & scheduling pro-active restaurant visits and works/ projects.
Escalation of unresolved issues to the Internal management Team of external suppliers to resolve these issues.
Provide feedback on works undertaken by third party contractors working within our restaurants – you will be our Team’s extra eyes and ears out on site!
To adopt a flexible approach in respect of other skills & trades, to enhance maintenance support across the business.
Physically strong and capable of moving heavy furniture or equipment.
Full & clean driving licence required.
Willingness to travel to multiple sites within an agreed area, but with the understanding that travel to other areas may be required according to the needs of the business, which may require overnight stays from time to time.
Ability and flexibility to accommodate and learn additional skills as the role evolves.

Experience of maintaining the high standards of maintenance and repair across a multi-site organisation would be beneficial.
An understanding of restaurant businesses/ hospitality would be advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve maintenance related issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for communicating complex technical issues to both peers and non-technical staff.
Exceptional time management skills, organised, efficient, effective, and forward thinking.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Innovative and forward thinking.
Ability to adapt to ever changing situations with a positive attitude.
