Job Description
On behalf of our client in the field of the business advisory and accountancy services we are looking for a Accountancy Practice Manager.
The Group Practice Manager’s role is to support the Director with leading regional offices (ROs), including the main office within their region:
- Resource the administrative and support teams across the region
- Manage workflows and turnaround times
- Client feedback
- Coordinate and monitor training programmes, CPD and professional exams
- Centralise AML and Engagement letters
- Centralise independence and Integrity checks
- Manage health and safety for offices
- Liaise with marketing to coordinate and run events
- Oversee and support project role outs
- Reports on team performance by RO and hub
- Liaise with People function for all HR matters across the ROs including the hub
- Coordinate IT requirements of ROs with central IT
- Estates management across the Hub
- Coordinate recruitment requirements across the Hub with central recruitment
- Provide compliance support and link to central compliance
- Strong leadership skills
- A good understanding of digital developments in the accountancy industry and IT systems capability
- Ability and experience in staff management including development of staff
- Have good processes and working practices in their existing role
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate a range project lines across multiple locations
